Hannah's House in Mishawaka, Indiana is a maternity home that provides shelter, programming, and staff support for pregnant teenagers and women that do not have any place to go during this time in their life. My coworker, Christin Hammond, asked me to volunteer my time to paint this tree in the hallway at Hannah's House. Her idea is to have leaf-shaped plaques created and engraved with the baby's names that lived there to place on the limbs of the tree. I am happy to have volunteered and really loved how the tree turned out. I hope to get pictures of the tree with the leaves on it soon.
